Holly Cook is a London based flautist. Her varied work and performances include orchestral, recording work, recitals and education. She plays and teaches all concert flutes, whistles and ethnics ( flute, piccolo, alto flute, bass flute, bansuri, xiao, dizi, quena, panpipes and whistles ).
Holly graduated with a Master's degree when she was awarded a distinction in performance from Trinity Laban in 2009.
In 2011 - 2012 she gained the position of Richard Carne Junior Fellow at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Also in 2012 she was awarded an Emerging Excellence Award from Help Musicians UK ( formerly Musicians Benevolent Fund ).
Recently Holly has become a Concordia Artist, where she will be involved in projects and performances in 2015.
Holly has been a Selected Artist for Making Music's Concert Promoter's Group twice; as a soloist ( 2013 - 2014 ) and currently with Syrinx Flute and Harp Duo for 2015 - 2016 with harpist Tamara Young. Read more...
